The sweep is made out of 6063 alloy aluminum and the vinyl is durable and grey in color, both aluminum and metal and all painting is done in the USAThe total height of the sweep is 1 5/8". The aluminum part is 1" and the vinyl part it 5/8". Which will make it work for gaps up to 1 1/8" between door and floor/threshold. Can be used for exterior or interior doors. Heavy duty enough for exterior doors, but subtle enough for interior doors, also keeps sound out, and helps sound proof rooms. Made in the USA by Randall Manufacturing part number 3 FT V-60.
